Abstract:

To elongate service life of a discharge pipe, and to safely and easily carry out discharge of a molten object throughout a long period of time.

The tapping device of the melting furnace is composed so that the discharge pipe 100 is made of refractory material, and a graphite electrode 191 is replaceably attached on a molten metal passage 111 of the discharge pipe 100. In the tapping device, molten metal in the discharge pipe 100 is heated, melted and discharged by carrying out induction heating of the graphite electrode 191 in the discharge pipe 100 by an induction heating device 190U. A stop cock device opening and closing a tap hole 101 of the discharge pipe 100 is provided next to the tapping device, and outgoing molten metal is stopped at will.
