Abstract:

To prevent deterioration of effect in suppressing a sea clatter, the deterioration caused by the behavior thereof.

First and second antennas 101 and 102 transmit a detection pulse signal with an angular difference φ of direction axes while rotating the direction axes on a horizontal plane. A detection data generation unit 20 uses echo data based on a detection pulse signal of the first antenna 101 generated at a first reception unit 11 and echo data based on a detection pulse signal of the second antenna 102 generated at a second reception unit 12 to perform scan correlation processing and generate detection data. Image memory 30 stores the detection data. A detection cycle adjustment unit 40 calculates an average value M of the detection data within a predetermined zone, the data stored on the image memory 30. The detection cycle adjustment unit 40 adapts the angular difference φ so as to minimize the average value M.
