Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject pharmaceutical preparation that masks the unpleasant taste regardless of the strength of the unpleasant taste of the pharmaceutical with excellent feeling of taking medicine with rapid elution and no damage to bioavailability by using a coated powder produced by coating the core particles containing a specific drug with a specific coating membrane.
SOLUTION: (A) The core particles including a medicine having an unpleasant taste, for example, rebamipide, preferably, having 75-1,400 μm particle size, are coated with (B) a coating membrane comprising (i) preferably a lower melting substance (for example, citric and citric glycerol ester and (ii) preferably a low molecular weight water-soluble substance (for example, D-mannitol or the like) and the resultant coated powder or coated granules are used as a medicine. In the mixing proportion in the individual components, the component B is 5-100 wt.% based on the component A, while the weight ratio of the component Bi to the component Bii is 20/100-100/20.
