To provide a teething ring for infants which consists of a combination of a device for transmitting sounds to a user and a teething ring, is safe in spite of use by the infants and can be cleaned without affecting the electronic parts of the device for transmitting sounds.

The device (3) for transmitting sounds is made freely attachable and detachable to and from a base section (1). This base section is provided with a nipple (2) of the teething ring and the device for transmitting sounds can be removed from the base section in cleaning. A speaker (4) possessed by the device for transmitting sounds exists within the nipple and a battery (5) which is a driving power source for the device for transmitting sounds exists within the base section (1).
