Title:
TELEPHONE SET
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3708202
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ring only the equipment of a detected telephone number by setting respective telephone numbers to a base unit and hand sets through a dial-in function, detecting any telephone number and ringing the equipment of that telephone number.
SOLUTION: Assuming that two numbers A and B are set for a base unit 14 and a hand set B as telephone numbers, when a call is incoming, first of all, a dial-in 1st-order response signal is outputted. Afterwards, a DTMF signal is sent out. The low-order four digits of this signal are defined as an extension designation number. It is investigated by this extension designation number whether the call is incoming to the telephone number A or B. In the case of number A, assuming that the base unit 13 is set in a reception mode and further set in an automatic recording mode, the base unit 14 sends out a dial 2nd-order response signal. Afterwards, the call is caught again. Next, an automatically recorded guidance message recorded for the number A is sent out, and a left message is recorded. Such a state is provided when the extension designation number shows the number A but in the case of hand set 8 having the number B, it is similar as well.
