The telephone switching system 1 accommodates and connects a plurality of extension terminals 2 and extension radio terminals 3, automatically transfers a termination call of the extension radio terminal 3A during automatic transfer setting to the extension terminal 2A of the automatic transfer destination, and holds and transfers the call by the extension radio terminal 3B after the extension radio terminal 3B of vicarious answer source vicariously answers and establishes the speech for the termination during automatic transfer to the extension terminal 2A. When the holding and transferring call to the extension radio terminal 3A from the extension radio terminal 3B of the vicarious answer source concerning the speech is received, repeated automatic transfer to the extension terminal 2A which is the automatic transfer destination of the extension radio terminal 3A is restricted.
