Abstract:
PURPOSE:To receive the signal of a EDTV system and a current television system with the picture of a high quality by detecting the information of a movement according to a three dimensional frequency region and the combination of spatial integration and time integration and executing various processings adapted to the information. CONSTITUTION:A video signal is supplied to a display part 10 through a YC separating part 2, a decoder part 3, a noise reducing part 4, a chrominance signal compensating part 5, an interpolating and scanning part 6, an enhance part 7, a RGB converting part 8 and a time base compressing part 9. The information of the movement is detected by the three dimensional frequency region and the combination of the spatial integration and the time integration from the video signal and based on this information of the movement, a movement adaptive separating processing is executed in the YC separating part 2 and a movement adaptive interpolating processing is executed in the interpolating and scanning part 6.
