Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a temperature controller capable of heating fixing device only at the time of requiring, that is, forming an image and further, preventing a failure in fixing occurring in the initial stage of the formation of the image after that by executing an initial correction so as to make a control temp. high in the initial stage of the processing of a normal control part and further, adjusting an initial correcting quantity according to the initial detection temperature of a thermal roller.
CONSTITUTION: A warm-up control part and the normal control part for holding at a prescribed control temp. after the completion of the warm-up are included. At the time of setting the control temp., the control temp. Tc is set by the correction by a part for correcting when a paper sheet passes, adding the initial correcting quantity D1 (n) to an initially set reference temp. T3 in the initial stage of the processing, an initial correcting part adding an environmental correcting value D3 (t0) to the reference temp. T3 according atmospheric temperature t0 and an environmental correcting part adding a correcting quantity D2 when the paper passes to the reference temp. T3, only when the paper passes. The initial correcting part adjusts the initial correcting quantity in accordance with the initial detection temperature of the thermal roller before the processing of the warm-up control part is started and the number of the energization times (n) a heater and the initial correcting quantity can be gradually made smaller with the lapse of time.
