Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature measurement device and temperature measurement method that can accurately measure a temperature of an object of measurement using an optical COM.SOLUTION: A temperature measurement device 10 comprises: an optical frequency comb light source 20 that emits an optical comb; an optical division unit 22 that divides the optical comb into reference light 35 and measurement light 36; a sensor unit 11 that contracts due to a temperature change, and has a sensor optical fiber cable 30 to be arranged so as to come into contact with an object of measurement; an optical detection unit 26 that detects an optical interference signal 50 between reference light 35a divided by the optical division unit 22 and measurement light 36a via the sensor optical fiber cable of the sensor unit; a sensor length acquisition unit 27 that acquires a length of the contracted sensor optical fiber 30 on the basis of a detection result of the optical detection unit 26; and a temperature calculation unit 32 that calculates a temperature of the object of measurement on the basis of the length of the contracted sensor optical fiber cable 30 acquired by the sensor length acquisition unit 27.
