PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology related to a light modulating method which is capable of changing light permeability autonomously responsibly regardless of external temperature variation and does not necessarily require a complicated structure in which a light modulating part is tucked by a glass.SOLUTION: There is provided a silica-based particle dispersion manufactured by dispersing silica-based particles in media, and the media is a solvent and/or a polymer and the refraction index of the media (nD20) is 1.40 to 1.60.
