Abstract:
To provide a template matching method having an excellent detection accuracy.SOLUTION: A template matching method includes: a step S13 of specifying, by a sub-pixel estimation method, the coordinates similar to a reference image for a picked-up image from an image pick-up device by using an imaging-type encoder, and obtaining a sub-pixel estimation value generated through approximation in the sub-pixel estimation method; and a step S15 of correcting the specified coordinates based on a correction value according to the sub-pixel estimation value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
