PURPOSE: To enable strength test by securely and completely relieving of tension applied on an object, by applying a tension stronger than the strength of wire for cutting to give tension to the object in strength test of large structure.
CONSTITUTION: Linking wires 5, 5' are connected to both ends of a wire for cutting 4, and the other end of wire 5 is joined to a block 3 and the other end of wire 5' is joined to a hook 6a of a crane 6. A safety wire 7 is stretched between the joint A of wires 5 and 4 and the hook 6a, and an overload wire 9 is tied between the joint A and an overground weight 8. When the crane 6 is operated to winch up the hook 6a, the block 3 and a wire 2 for typhoon countermeasure are elevated until the wire 9 is stretched fully, then the wire 4 is cut. As a result, the block 3 drops by gravity to vibrate the bridge crane 1, so that the effect of the wire 2 may be meaured.
