To provide a terminal device which is sufficient in power generation quantity even without enlarging the cell size of a photovoltaic power generation panel so as to impart convenience to a user.

The terminal device comprises: a solar cell 25; a generating power detection section 11 for detecting the generating power of the solar cell; a remaining battery capacitance detection section 12 for detecting remaining capacitance of a battery 24 to be charged by the solar cell; a current consumption detection section 13 for detecting power consumed by a load 30; and a main control section 14 which calculates a charging time required for driving the load for a predetermined time and displays the calculated charging time on a screen, based on the generating power of the solar cell detected by the generating power detection section 11 and the power consumption detected by the current consumption detection section 13 in a case where it is discriminated that the remaining capacitance of the battery detected by the remaining battery capacitance detection section 12 is below a first predetermined value.
