To provide a terminal part of a metal reinforced plastic pipe with an air and liquid seal free of breakage between a pipe joint body and the plastic pipe for a long period independently of the amplitude of the pressure of the fluid flowing in the plastic pipe.

The terminal part of the metal reinforced plastic pipe comprises a protecting ring inserted between the pipe joint body and the plastic pipe, a rubber packing positioned at the rear end of the protecting ring, and a retainer mounted at the rear end of the packing for thrusting the packing, the retainer being positioned between the pipe joint body and a pressing ring connected thereto with a bolt and thrust toward the packing with the pressing ring. The packing has a cross section circular at its front end and rectangular at its rear end, with the rear end thrust at its end face by the retainer.
