PURPOSE: To completely prevent occurence of current leakage by shutting water which invades the inside of a connector while passing the insulating coating of an insulated electric cable to which a press bonding type terminal is connected by pressing.

CONSTITUTION: A press-bonding type terminal 10 has an insulation barrel 10a to keep a water proof rubber plug 6 and an insulated electric cable 1 in closely attached state by caulking the rubber plug 6, a newly installed barrel 10b to caulk an insulating coating 2 of an insulated electric cable which is inserted in the rubber plug 6 and exposed, and a wire barrel 10c installed continuously to the newly installed barrel to caulk the core wires 3 which are exposed from the insulating coating 2. These newly installed barrel 10b and the wire barrel 10c caulk the insulating coating 2 and the core wires 3 collectively and practically wrap them in the inside of the terminal. The gap among core wires is filled with the sealing material by previously spreading a sealing material paste to the wire barrel 1c and pressing the sealing material.
