Abstract:
To provide a theft detection device and a theft prevention system that are easy to implement and have a high theft prevention effect and operational accuracy.
The theft detection device 300 has casings 302 and 303 for accommodating an inserted screw 203 and covering the screwhead of the screw 203; a cap part 301 placed over the casings 302 and 303 to conceal the screwhead from the outside; a first transmitter/receiver 3022 disposed in the casings 302 and 303 to transmit a polling signal; and a second transmitter/receiver 3013 disposed in the cap part 301 to transmit a response signal when receiving the polling signal. The first transmitter/receiver 3022 further has means for receiving the response signal to the polling signal.
