To provide a therapeutic device which performs thermotherapy and radiotherapy in a body cavity at the same time to enhance a therapeutic effect on a lesion and highly accurately and concentratedly irradiates the lesion locally existing only in a part in the circumferential direction in the body cavity of a patient with a radiation emitted from a radiation source so as to effectively apply combined use of the thermotherapy and radiotherapy.
The outer circumferential direction of a catheter path 64 for RI in which the radiation source for radiotherapy is inserted is covered with a high-frequency electrode 61 for thermotherapy formed by materials which have low transmittance of the radiation. A balloon 26 is arranged to cover the high-frequency electrode 61 for the thermotherapy. The radiation from the radiation source can be emitted through an opening 62 for emitting the radiation in the high-frequency electrode 61.
