Abstract:
In a gas flow rate measurement device attached in an intense temperature environment in which there is significant intake pulsation, temperature dependence differs between a reverse flow side and a forward flow side, and the problem therefore arises that precision of temperature characteristic correction in the pulsating environment is inadequate only on the forward flow side. In the present invention, a detection element capable of detecting forward/reverse flow, and a map for correcting a detected intake air flow rate are provided, and an intake air flow rate signal is forward/reverse corrected in accordance with a temperature signal of an intake air temperature detection element for detecting the intake air temperature, whereby the flow rate of drawn-in air can be detected with high precision without the intake air temperature being affected, even in a pulsating-flow environment with significant temperature variation.
