To provide a thermal management system for an electric vehicle capable of removing stagnation of a refrigerant in a refrigerant cycle.
A thermal management system 100 for an electric vehicle includes: a refrigerant loop 10 for an air conditioner for absorbing heat in an evaporation part and releasing the heat in a condensation part; a refrigerant loop 30 for a heater for circulating a refrigerant for the heater between the condensation part 16, a vehicle-inside radiator 35 and a vehicle-outside radiator 32; a refrigerant loop 50 for a battery for circulating a refrigerant for the battery between the battery, the evaporation part 17 and a heat exchanger 56 for exchanging heat between the refrigerant for the battery and the air introduced into the vehicle; and a thermal management control means for switching the refrigerant loop 50 for the battery into a detouring state around the heat exchanger 56, when a target blowing-out temperature of an air conditioning unit is higher than the air temperature in a cabin, and for switching the refrigerant loop 50 for the battery into the flowing state through the heat exchanger 56, when the target blowing-out temperature of the air conditioning unit is lower than the air temperature in the cabin.
