Abstract:
To provide a thermal printer capable of stably holding roll paper in a roll paper storage part after facilitating insertion and removal of roll paper into the roll paper storage part.SOLUTION: A thermal printer 1 according to one aspect of the present invention includes: a casing 11 with a roll paper storage part 31 and a discharge port 33; a printing unit 3 provided between the roll paper storage part 31 and the discharge port 33 in the casing 11; a flap 61a provided rotatably about an axis line O2 between the printing unit 3 and the roll paper storage section 31 in the casing 11, and pushing the roll paper R away from the discharge port 33 by abutting with an outer peripheral surface of the roll paper R; and an energization member energizing the flap 61a in a direction away from the discharge port 33 about the axis line O2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
