Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal storage device in which thermal output in a predetermined period from supply start of a heating medium is stable.SOLUTION: A thermal storage device 1a includes: a thermal storage body 2; and a flow passage 3 which has a contact flow passage 3x and which is for flowing a heating medium. The thermal storage body 2 has: an upstream part 2a for coming into contact with an upstream side flow passage 3b; and a downstream part 2b for coming into contact with a downstream side flow passage 3d. The upstream part 2a and the downstream part 2b are configured in such a manner that, the upstream side flow passage 3b and the upstream part 2a, and the downstream side flow passage 3d and the downstream part 2b are divided, and in a state where the upstream part 2a and the downstream part 2b are at the same temperature, when a fluid having a temperature different from the temperature of the upstream part 2a is continuously supplied to the upstream side flow passage 3b from a first position nearest to an inflow port 11, and when the fluid is supplied continuously to the downstream side flow passage 3d from a second position nearest to the inflow port 11 in the same manner, change speed of a wall surface temperature of the downstream side flow passage 3d is larger than the change speed of the wall surface temperature of the upstream side flow passage 3b.
