Abstract:
To prolong the total service life of an igniter by reducing its heat load.
A thermal turbo-machine is provided with a housing 80, a combustor 30, an ignition device 10, a fuel supply part 60 and an air supply part 70. The ignition device 10 comprises an ignition chamber 50 and an igniter 51 arranged therein and the fuel and air supply parts 60 and 70 are opened into the ignition chamber 50 which is connected to the combustor 30. In this case, the ignition device 10 is disposed outside the housing 80 of the thermal turbo-machine and is connected to the combustor 30 through an ignition pipe 40.
