Abstract:
To provide a high-efficiency thermoelectric material composed of an inexpensive and enviromentally friendly complexed metal oxide.
This hexagonal system compound metal oxide is composed of sodium cobalt acid, for example, and is produced by repeating a molding/ sintering process more than twice, while having a peak intensity ratio I(002)/I(102) of 15 or in larger two orthogonal directions in X-ray structure diffraction and having a layered structure, with which crystallites are grown further in a two-dimensional direction.
