PURPOSE: To obtain a laminate good in squeeze processability in processing such as thermoforming or the like and high in tensile strength by providing at least two films comprising a polymer material to independently stretch them and partially shrinking the stretched films.

CONSTITUTION: In a thermoplastic laminate 10 suitable for packing an article such as food, the first polymer film 12 arranged as one surface of the laminate is provided and second and third stretched and partially shrunk polymer films 14, 16 are laminated on the film 12 and a fourth polymer film 18 is arranged on the third polymer film 16 as the other surface of the laminate. The first polymer film 12 is formed by using a polymer having abuse resistance to final packing, for example, polyamide, copolyamide or polypropylene and the intermediate films 14, 16 are formed from an EVA layer, an ethylene/α-olefin copolymer intermediate layer and other EVA layer.
