To provide a thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer having high hardness and retaining mechanical properties, having low glass transition temperature and excellent in low-temperature characteristics and to provide a method for producing a thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer excellent in hardness, mechanical properties and low-temperature characteristics and having low glass transition point, and a composition suitable for production of such thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer and to provide the use using the thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer.
This thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer is obtained by reacting at least (A) a polyoxyalkylene polyol having 15-115 hydroxy value and produced by using a nonmetal catalyst with (B) a polyoxyalkylene polyol having 116-480 hydroxyl value and (C) a compound having isocyanate group.
