Abstract:
To obtain a PPE-based resin composition containing a filler having a shape anisotropy and a phosphoric acid ester-based fire retardant, and having improved fire retarding property, stiffness, strength, impact resistance, tenacity, heat resistance, etc.
This thermoplastic resin composition is obtained by melt kneading 100 pts.wt. polyphenylene ether-based resin or resin obtained by blending the same with a polystyrene resin, 5-60 pt.wt. filler having a shape anisotropy, 1-30 pt.wt. phosphoric acid ester-based fire retardant, and 0.01-20 pt.wt. silicone polymer powder consisting of (a) 100 pts.wt. polydiorganosiloxane and (b) 10-150 pt.wt. silica.
