Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a molded body consisting of a thermoplastic resin and the silicone rubber strongly unified with said resin and effectively developing the characteristics of both of them.
CONSTITUTION: A thermoplastic resin/silicone rubber molded body is obtained by mixing a silicon-containing compound having a hydrogen atom directly bonded to at least one silicon atom in one molecule thereof and having an aliphatic unsaturated group in its molecule and/or a polymer thereof with a thermoplastic resin under heating and producing a molded body from the thermoplastic resin thus treated and subsequently bringing uncured silicone rubber into contact with the molded body to cure the same at temp. equal to or lower than the softening point of the thermoplastic resin.
