PURPOSE: To completely insulate an element to be measured from its environment by fitting a sealed plate provided with an X-ray detecting device and a connection device of a processing means to one end part of a supporting plate provided with the X-ray detecting device and an output signal processing means, and removably fitting the supporting plate in a case.
CONSTITUTION: When a supporting plate 18 is inserted in a case 1, the plate is guided along sliding passages 15, 16. A sealed plate 19 is abutted on a side having an opening of the case 1 and fixed by screws, and a contact part is sealed by a seal ring. An active element which is supported by the supporting plate 18 and fitted to rods 23, 24 comprises a detection device 21, e.g. an X-ray sensing photo-diode array and an electronic element to process the signal from the detection device 22, and these elements contain an A/D converter, a computer, and a voltage regulator, and is arranged on a printed circuit 22. The active elements of an instrument are cooled by a cooling circuit provided on the rod 23, and the temperature rise is controlled.
