Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin antenna for RFID tag reading, and an antenna unit using the thin antenna, conforming to two types of frequencies of a UHF band and an HF band and communication schemes, capable of satisfactory communication if attached to a metallic member.SOLUTION: The thin antenna includes: a magnetic sheet; a first antenna unit disposed on one face of the magnetic sheet; a second antenna unit of a coil shape to surround the first antenna unit; and a conductor ground plate disposed on another face of the magnetic sheet. When the magnetic sheet is looked in the thickness direction thereof, the first antenna unit and the second antenna unit are respectively disposed in such a manner that at least a part thereof is overlapped with the conductor ground plate.
