Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin transformer which is used for a switching power supply for various kinds of electronic apparatuses, can meet safety standards, is small in size to have a minimum dead space, can withstand high voltage and is low in cost.
SOLUTION: The thin transformer is constituted of a multilayer laminated coil laminating a primary winding 1 and a secondary winding 2 alternately through an insulating paper 3. When a distance between a primary winding 1 or a secondary winding 2 and a terminal portion 4 is A, and a distance between the primary winding 1 and the secondary winding 2 surrounding the insulating paper 3 is B, A and B can be set as the most suitable distances to a distance which was set to be A=B conventionally by constituting so as to meet the relation of A>B and a dead space can be minimized accordingly.
