Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrathin pump realizing high performance, the long service life, and noise reduction while attaining an ultrathin type.
SOLUTION: This ultrathin pump is provided with: a ring-shaped impeller 1 formed of a large number of blades on the outer periphery, and having a rotor magnet on the inner periphery; a motor stator 4 arranged on the inner peripheral side of the rotor magnet; and a pump casing 5 forming a suction port and a delivery port, housing the ring-shaped impeller 1 inside, and forming a cylindrical part to be arranged between the motor stator 4 and the rotor magnet. The pump is characterized in that the cylindrical part rotatably journals the ring-shaped impeller 1, and a thrust dynamic pressure generating groove 12 is arranged on a thrust plate oppositely arranged on both side surfaces of the ring-shaped impeller 1 or both side surface of the pump casing.
