Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise both capacity and safety of a thin type nonaqueous electrolyte battery.
SOLUTION: A storing container 1, a positive electrode stored in the container 1 and containing a positive electrode active substance, a negative electrode stored in the container 1 and containing a negative electrode active substance and non-water electrolyte stored in the container 1 are provided. The positive electrode active substance contains oxides containing Li and Ni. Furthermore, pH of the positive electrode active substance is within the limits of 10 to 12 and elements selected from Al, B, Sn or Nb is contained in the thin type nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery.
