Abstract:

To easily re-dispose a thread and to simplify the structure of a thread guide device.

A planar base 9 and a thread presser 8 are piled up and provided in the middle of the needle thread route of a sewing machine, and the thread T supplied from a thread supply source 20 is made to pass between the base 9 and the thread presser 8. One end each of the base 9 and the thread presser 8 is brought into press contact with each other with elastic force, and the other ends are freely brought close and separated in cantilever by the elastic force of the one end. An inversion part 14 for changing the direction of the thread is provided on the other end, the thread T for a needle thread 6 passes between the base 9 and the thread presser 8 from one end to the other end, and a thread T for a bobbin thread 5 is guided from one end to the other end, inverted in the inversion part 14 and selectively guided to the one end. In such a manner, since a distance of passing through a part near a support end becomes longer for the bobbin thread 5 for winding compared to the needle thread 6, tension stronger than that of the needle thread 6 is imparted. Imparting of the tension of both routes for the needle thread 6 and for the bobbin thread 5 can be coped with by two disks that are the base 9 and the thread presser 8, the structure is simple and the work of re-disposing the thread T is easy.
