Abstract:
To provide a golf ball enabling a player slow in swing speed to increase carry.
The golf ball 10 comprises a center 12 formed of material containing polybutadiene and having high resilience; at least one cover layer 14 composed of material containing polyurethane; and at least one thread-wound layer 30 formed of tightened thread material and provided between the center 12 and the cover 14. A polyurethane compound is formed of reaction product of a diamine curing agent and at least one prepolymer composed of polyisocyanate and polyol. A polybutadiene compound contains butadiene polymer having a resilience index of approximately greater than 40 and weight average molecular weight of greater than about 200,000.
