Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a throw-in type wave measuring buoy which can be easily set afloat on the surface of water on which wave information is measured and can suppress the destruction when being set afloat.SOLUTION: A throw-in type wave measuring buoy 1 which is set afloat on the surface of water includes: a measurement means which measures at least a change of an attitude of the throw-in type wave measuring buoy 1; a housing part 2 which houses the measurement means liquid-tightly; and a plurality of floats 3 which are arranged around the housing part 2 and are connected integrally with the housing part 2. Therein, the housing part 2 and the plurality of floats 3 have such a shape that the width gradually decreases toward the side lower than a draft line of the throw-in type wave measuring buoy 1.
