Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a thrust direction-variable thruster capable of controlling the attitude around three axes of a space apparatus or the like with very few number of thruster nozzles.
CONSTITUTION: A thrust direction-variable thruster is constituted of a cover tube 4 connected to a thruster nozzle 3 rotatably around the tube axis while the tube axis is made nearly coincident with the jet direction, a jet port 4a opened at the position apart from the connection section of the cover tube 4 by a required quantity in the direction that the jet direction crosses the tube axis, and a rotating means 6 rotatively driving the cover tube 4 around the tube axis.
