Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a uniform thrust for an object.SOLUTION: A thrust generator, which has a first movable wedge 24A which engages with a right screw part 22a of a screw shaft 22 connected to a motor 21 and a second movable wedge 24B which engages with a left screw part 22b of the screw shaft 22, moves the first movable wedge 24A and the second movable wedge 24B in opposite directions along an axis of the screw shaft 22 by rotational driving of the screw shaft 22 thereby generating a thrust in a direction perpendicular to the axis. In the thrust generator, the screw shaft 22 supported by a bearing 25 is movable along the axis.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
