To provide a thrust roller bearing preventing a retainer from being pinched to be damaged between both flanges on inner and outer diametrical sides of first and second raceway rings.
The trust roller bearing is equipped with: a plurality of rollers 11; a retainer 20 for retaining these rollers 11 so as to enable their rolling motions; and both first and second raceway rings 30, 40 having the opposite surfaces raceways 31, 41 on which the rollers 11 can roll are formed. An inner diametrical side flange 32 is formed in an inner diametrical end of the first raceway ring 30, while an outer diametrical side flange 42 is formed in an outer diametrical end of the second raceway ring 40. In the flange of at least one raceway ring of both the first and second raceway rings 30, 40, a regulating section 35 is provided which approaches the end of the other raceway ring so as to contact therewith to regulate the axial and relative movements of the first and second raceway rings 30, 40.
