PURPOSE: To allow both extraction and storing of a thumbtack in a container in a device which extracts a thumbtack by using a thumbtack container.

CONSTITUTION: Lifting pieces 2 for a thumbtack 6 is extended at one end of a container 1, a slit 3 through which a pin 6b of a thumbtack 6 is run is formed from the cross-direction near the center of the lifting pieces 2 to the bottom of container 1 and a slide lid 4 which contacts freely the inside of the bottom face of the container 1 where the slit 3 is located is provided. The slide lid 4 is composed so as to slide by an amount which allows the thickness of the head 6b of the thumbtack to pass, and the length from the contact position of the slide lid 4 to the terminal part 3a of the slit 3 to the bottom face of the container 1 is larger than a radius of the head 6a of the thumbtack.
