To improve fixing strength of a wave tile by providing a recess part whose opening part is an upward U-shape and a fixing part fixing a tile stiffener on the sheathing roof board with regard to tile stiffener fixed on the sheathing roof board of a roof and hanging the wave tile.

The tile stiffener 1 of stainless steel is made an S-shape to form U-shaped recess parts 2, 5, and fixed on a sheathing roof board 12 by stainless steel nails 10. The hook part 8 of a wave tile 7 is fitted to the recess part 2, and the wave tile 7 is fixed on the upper face of the recess part 5 of the tile stiffener 1 by specific screws 51 from a hole 9 provided in the wave tile 7. If the wave tile 7 is fixed as described in the above, the wave tile 7 can be roofed without using a vertical stiffener, and durability of a tile roof can be improved because the tile stiffener of stainless steel is used. Because the hook part 8 of the wave tile 7 is fixed to be fitted to the recess part 2 of the tile stiffener 1, the wave tile 7 is difficult to be removed from the tile stiffener 1. Thus, the tile stiffener can be surely fixed to the wave tile.
