PURPOSE: To improve the productivity by mounting a tile on an aligning pallet, and sticking the tile to a backing plate in a lump with a sucker.

CONSTITUTION: A frame 10 is provided with a table 30 mounted with a tile backing plate 20, a tile aligning pallet 60 fitted with a grating frame 61 aligning plural pieces of tiles 62, a sucker 50 holding a line of the tiles 62 by suction force and transferring them onto the tile backing plate 20, and a positioning plate 39 for positioning the table 30 at an equal pitch. With this constitution, the required sheets of tiles 62 are mounted on the pallet 60, and rows of these tiles 62 with the specified arrangement are aligned in advance. In addition, a line of these tiles 62 is transferred onto the tile backing plate 20 in a lump with the sucker 50, thus productivity in a tiling process is improved sharply, through which working cost is reduced.
