Title:
TIME-DIVISION SYSTEM 3D LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY, AND OPTICAL COMPENSATION FILM FOR THE TIME-DIVISION SYSTEM 3D LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2011209518
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a time-division system 3D liquid crystal display excellent in 3D display characteristic.

The time-division system 3D liquid crystal display includes at least polarizers which are paired, a liquid crystal cell arranged between the polarizers which are paired, and an optical compensation film arranged between at least one of the polarizers which are paired and the liquid crystal cell, wherein the optical compensation film has at least a first optically anisotropic layer composed by curing liquid crystal composition, and a second optically anisotropic layer composed of polymer film, and the maximum value of contrast change per 1° at a viewing angle in a right-and-left direction is 50 or less.
