Title:
TIME-SHARE MIXER CIRCUIT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3666686
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit an image signal which is stronger than a desired signal by specified dB by receiving the desired signal in the range of not less than specified MHz in a frequency conversion circuit.
SOLUTION: A mixer 105 provided with a primary input port 107 and an oscillator input port 109, a local oscillator 113 generating an initial oscillator signal, a switching signal source 115 and an alternate signal means 117 driven by a switching signal are provided. The alternate signal means 117 adds control to the circuit so that output is alternated between an in-phase output signal and an orthogonal phase output signal. The in-phase output signal is similar to an output signal which the mixer 105 generates in response to a prescribed input signal when the initial oscillator signal is added to the oscillator input port 109. When the phase of the initial oscillator signal is shifted by 90 degrees and it is added to the oscillator port 109, the orthogonal phase output signal is similar to the output signal which the mixer 105 generates.
