Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce a call loss of the system by allocating a time slot in the communication using plural time slots when no idle time slot for allocation is available.
CONSTITUTION: When acquisition of channel is started on the occurrence of new communication (step 500), and when no available idle time slot is in existence in a cell and when high speed communication using plural time slots is available, high speed communication using plural and maximum time slots is checked among the available communication sets (steps 505, 507). When new communication is low speed communication, one time slot is released from the high speed communication employing the plural and maximum time slots (steps 509, 510) and the released time slot is allocated for the new communication (step 511). When the new communication is a high speed communication, time slots are released to be impartially shared with high speed communication using plural time slots with the same carrier (steps 509, 512) and the released time slots are allocated to the new communication (step 513).
