PURPOSE: To provide a time indication appealing to the visual sense of the user and eliminate the complicatedness of a time setting operation by a method wherein numeral keys for setting the hour, minute and second are arranged at regular intervals onnthe smae circumference of circle.
CONSTITUTION: Twelve numeral keys 19-aW19-l are arranged at substantially regular intervals on the same circumference of circle on an operating panel surface 3. The numeral keys 19-aW19-l are adapted so that at the time of setting the hour unit, the keys 19-a, 19-b, 19-c...19-l correspond respectively to 0, 1, 2...11, and at the time of setting and minute unit and the second unit, the keys 19-a, 19-b, 19-c... 19-l correspond respectively to 0, 5, 10...55. In addition, a unit indication lamp 18 is provided in a fluorescent display tube 6 to indicate whether the fourth place 12 and the third place 11 of the tube 6 are showing the time in hours or in minutes.
