Abstract:
To provide a tip seal for a scroll compressor that can reduce frictional force between a scroll member and a tip seal while maintaining sealability to contribute to energy saving for a scroll compressor.SOLUTION: A tip seal 1 has a swirl shape for sealing a compression chamber formed between a stationary scroll that is a scroll member in a scroll compressor and a movable scroll, and has a groove 4 in a central part in a width direction of the tip seal 1 on at least a slide surface 5 to a scroll member.
