Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent air from mixing in a sealant in the case of receiving a stab flaw in a partition, in a tube formed with an air chamber charged with air and a sealant chamber charged with the sealant by partitioning an internal space with the partition.
SOLUTION: Ratio R (R=B/A) of a sectional area B of a tube 2 inflated by charging it with air relating to a sectional area A of the tube 2 stored in the inside of a tire 1 in a non-inflated condition is set to 100 to 110%, so as to small suppress tension of a partition when the tube 2 is inflated. Even when the partition of the tube 2 receives a stab flaw (b), the partition with only small tension acting has a weak tendency tending to contract in a side of an air chamber 3, so as to prevent almost an inflow of air of the air chamber 3 into a sealant chamber 7, decreasing of seal performance of a sealant 8 due to mixing with air is prevented.
