Title:
TIRE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2015199490
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire that may suppress uneven wear of a land while effectively reducing an air-column resonance sound generated by circumferential grooves.SOLUTION: A tire 10 comprises, formed in a treading surface 11 of a tread: at least two circumferential grooves 12, 13 extending in the circumferential direction of the tire; and a land 14 sandwiched between the circumferential grooves 12, 13. The land 14 has resonators 15. Each of the resonators 15 has an air chamber 16, a first branch groove 17, and a second branch groove 18. The at least two circumferential grooves include: the first circumferential groove 12, in which a cross-section defined by a plane perpendicular to the direction of extension of the circumferential grooves has a smaller area; and the second circumferential groove 13, in which a cross-section defined by a plane perpendicular to the direction of extension of the circumferential grooves has a greater area. A center of gravity C of each of the air chambers 16 is located with a deviation on the first circumferential groove 12 side relative to a center CL of the land 14 in the width direction of the tire.
