To provide a titanium alloy that strikes a balance between oxidation resistance properties and creep properties, a method for producing the same and an engine component including the same.SOLUTION: A titanium alloy has a needle-like tissue that comprises, in mass%, Al: 5% or more and 8% or less, Nb: 1% or more and 10% or less, Zr: 1% or more and 8% or less, Mo: 0% or more and 8% or less, Sn: 0% or more and 2% or less, and Si: 0% or more and 1% or less with the balance being Ti and unavoidable impurities, in which α-Ti phases and β-Ti phases are alternately laminated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
