Abstract:
This titanium alloy plate has a chemical composition containing, in terms of mass%: a total of 0.2-7.0% of one type or two or more types selected from the group consisting of 0-2.0% of Sn, 0-5.0% of Zr, and 0-7.0% of Al; at most 0.100% of N; at most 0.080% of C; at most 0.015% of H; at most 0.700% of O; and at most 0.500% of Fe, with the balance consisting of Ti and impurities. The average crystal grain size is 40 μm or less, the standard deviation of the grain size distribution based on the logarithm of the crystal grain size (μm) is 0.80 or less, the crystal structure includes an α phase having a hexagonal close-packed structure, and the area ratio of crystal grains, in which the angle formed in the [0001] direction of the α phase with respect to the plate thickness direction is 0-40 degrees, is 70% or more.
